The Uncanny X-Men

Here's a picture I took recently that reminded me of my favorite mutants.

Lesson here is that whenever you play tic-tac-toe, do the X-Men symbol and you will win for sure!!!

So yeah, anything about X-Men has been my favorite. I remember that ever  since I was into X-men, they were called "The Uncanny X-Men". With all honesty, I never knew what the word uncanny meant! I ignored the word all the time! Stupid of me right? So now I searched for the definition.

1 the silence was uncanny: eerie, unnatural, unearthly, preternatural, supernatural, otherworldly, ghostly, mysterious, strange, unsettling, abnormal, weird, bizarre, surreal, eldritch; informal creepy, spooky, freakish, freaky.
2 an uncanny resemblance: striking, remarkable, extraordinary, exceptional, incredible, noteworthy, notable, arresting.

Well these definitions pretty much described the X-Men!!! (DUUUH :|)



So since X-men has been my long favorite, here are some of the X-Men stuff that I was into!


Here are some action figures I had! The X-Men Monster Armor Series! I actually completed all figures :> wuhoo.

Also, I was in to the movies! The movies were great of course! BITIN NGA LANG! :((

I also liked the Playstation games! Yung mga Marvel VS Capcom! Epic nun. Shit, I miss Playstation 1 so baaaad =)) Corny yung X-Men Ultimate Alliance sa PS3 eh.

Of course, what made me like X-Men a lot was the TV SERIES!
X-Men had a storyline that was so interesting, and it seemed to never stop!

I really liked this series...but NOTHING BEATS THE ORIGINAL!!!

The original was just too good. 

It actually made me want to be an X-Men! Every time I daydream (until now :|), I imagine myself as a mutant saving people :)) :)) :)) Doing that would always make me happy =)) (I do this when I'm bored in class or sometimes during Mass )

  So whenever I see these mutants running towards each other...

I know that something great is gonna show on TV.

Practice: Random Lights

Here are random pictures of chandeliers, bulbs and lamps! Most of these pics I actually took at home. I'm proud to say that only three of these pics are editied! hehe. 

 This is a picture of my center light in my room. We bought this with some glass balls pero yun, nasira eh hahahaha. Sad. Tas nasira din yung isang bulb. It still looks nice though right? What do you think?

Chandeliers! Tama ba spelling? Wala kasi sa online dictionary ng Mac. I tried searching too and I'm not sure... So yeah, I hope it's the right spelling since I have friends who correct me a lot =)) I don't want to get embarrassed again! These are all taken at home :)

The next three pictures are taken in the St. Francis Tower Condo thingy! This picture reminds me of a pineapple :))

I like this picture because I think it's angelic, feather like and ethereal :) BUT WAIT! Try clicking the picture. If it becomes larger, you'll see that they look like mushrooms :) Mushroom heaven :> yum!

There! I enjoyed taking these stuff because it's easy to shoot! Since these are still objects and also, they produce light (duh), all I have to do is click! Creativity is the main challenge here so hopefully next time I could produce better shots :)

First Post:The Photography Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!

Alright! So this is my first post ever in this blog!Since I made this blog yesterday (2010December25), it is just fitting to talk about Christmas. My Christmas this year was just alright. I got sick though (I was also sick for about two weeks just days before the 25th of December :| ) but this virus I have in my body won't stop me from being happy and spreading joy this Christmas! If you knew me, I always try to be happy especially since I experience a lot of sad events in my life (shit ang drama hahaha). Anyway! The one practice or tradition that made this season so special was Gift Giving! Of course I enjoyed buying gifts for my family and friends. I went to the Riverbanks bazaar twice just so that I could find somewhat the right gifts for these important people in my life. But what really made me happy was the gifts I received this year! Hahaha. Sorry medyo mahilig lang talaga ako sa gifts! In fact, some of the gifts I got this Christmas were just too special. These gifts were actually connected to Photography!!! :D

The first interesting gift that I got came from my best friend, Kurt Santiago! (here's his blog: http://kurtypatootie.blogspot.com) He actually gave me a Camera Lamp! Cool right? Ang galing lang talaga ng concept ng gift!!! Thank you Kurtsie boy!

The next interesting gift I got was a Photography Book Set. It had three books by Scott Kelby! I read one chapter in the book (which was just about 10 pages) and I already learned a lot! Thanks to my sister for giving me this very helpful gift! This is the first book I received that I actually want to read! Yung tipong kating-kati ako basahin!!!(Note: I really hate reading books)

My parents gave me two things this Christmas.

First was a new Camera bag! They probably bought me a new one since my old bag is not decent anymore and it's strap got broken. This bag is just perfect. It actually provides the right cushioning for my baby :D

The second gift they gave me was the best this season! It was a Speedlite Flash!!! Wuhooo! I've been wanting one so much and they bought it for me!!!

Thank you my generous parents. I owe you guys a lot. Hopefully my semi-studious attitude and bazaar knock-off gifts will be enough as my Christmas gifts for the BEST parents in the world (second to God of course).  Siyempre, much love will always come from me. Cheesey =))
